What is a Professional
Notary Public & Loan Signing Agent
I became a Notary Public because I wanted to help my local community. Since Notaries in North Carolina are appointed by the State it is my duty to verify each signer's identity, make sure they are competent and coherent, and that they truly wish to sign the document they present to me. It is also my duty to ensure the document is signed and notarized properly. This may seem to some like a simple task, but I can assure you that an untrained Notary can make simple mistakes that can truly put you in a bind. That is why I've taken over 145+ additional hours becoming well versed on our state's requirements to operate as a Notary Public within North Carolina (specifically Hickory).

When acting as a Notary Loan Signing Agent, what I like to call my second hat, I take pride in guiding my signers page-by-page through their Real Estate signing packages with ease so they can close their transaction on time. I have trained rigorously to learn the key information most signers are interested in when signing and are prepared to help them locate the information they could be seeking. I also remain a member of the National Notary Association as well as NotaryStars.com should I ever hit a hiccup and need support so my clients can sign with confidence.

Education
State of North Carolina
It is very important to me to make sure that I stay up-to-date with all State laws and statutes for Notaries within North Carolina. Therefore, I am consistently reviewing our Secretary of State's website to ensure that I am in the know for any changes.
National Notary Assocation
I am a proud member of the National Notary Association and renew my membership yearly. Although North Carolina's Secretary of State works diligently to ensure our State's Notaries are well informed via their website. I feel it's part of my duty as a Notary to be a member of an organization that helps ensure Notaries around the country continue to obtain training on notarizing documents. I also keep my background check and Certified Signing Agent Exam (which is an ethical test about being a Notary) updated annually.
Notary2Pro
One of my greatest accomplishments as a Notary Public & Loan Signing agent was graduating the late Carol Ray's, Notary2Pro course which I believe is a step beyond the National Notary Association's Certified Signing Agent Course. Through Notary2Pro I was able to become proficient in Real Estate documents/transactions to give my signers a great experience at their closings.
NotaryStars
After finishing Notary2Pro, I began training with NotaryStars.com which offers over 145+ hours of Notary Public & Loan Signing Agent training on every loan product, type of signing, and signature variance under the Sun. When I am not signing a client I am always popping into their daily training to stay up-to-date. And as a full member of Notary Stars I also have access to a great support team with a collective experience of over 35+ years to help me if I run into any problems after hours.
Loan Signing System
During my training as a Notary, I wanted to really understand how to make the best of my time in the industry on the road. Loan Signing Systems helped me understand what Title and Escrow is seeking of me and how to prepare myself for a career as Mobile Notary. Within this course I was able to truly open my eyes to what my clients are looking for and how I can serve them best.
